hi there, thank you for dropping by and posting a comment/question in my blog. i've posted an answer, do drop by again. (gist: yep, the interviews are for the blog alone and are not published anywhere else.) btw, great, great site you have. looks like we both are into the same movie stuff (your list of fave directors alone is way too familiar :) ). cinema paradiso also happens to be my all-time favorite movie! that pic of toto brings back so many memories. mind a link-up? :)

Thanks for checking out my blog. What do you think of the director's cut of Cinema Paradiso? Do you prefer it over the short/original version? Did you see Tornatore's Legend of 1900? Did you like it?
Re. link-up, it's perfectly fine.
Again, thanks.

hi there! i much prefer the original version of cinema paradiso, short and sweet for me. the longer one is okay, but i really couldn't care less about the older toto getting some closure to his teenage infatuation with the girl. i like the aching ambiguity of the original. but that's just me. :) yep, i have the legend of 1900 on dvd, but haven't gotten around to watching it. i also have malena (beautiful monica bellucci!) and the starmaker. hey, i've added you to my blogroll. do visit again, i'll answer your new post asap. :)

Oh, I love how you did that slide show! I used to run a film blog. It's been dormant for a year now (www.pelikulaatlipunan.blogspot.com) but since I stopped writing film reviews for Yehey! Movies, I also stopped blogging about films. Visiting your site makes me want to do that again!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment!

Hey Dylan. Thanks for your kind words. I would be waiting for your new film blog.

I might just have to resurrect my old film blog, give it a new template, delete stupid entries and voila! Itd be back in business.

Toto said...

Update the template but keep the original posts unchanged. Makes it more interesting.

Hahaha.
Thanks for the encouragement, Gibbs.
Don't worry. I'll try to post something this week. Watch out for it.

every time i visit your blog i get so distracted--i end up reading and re-reading your entries then watching films instead of writing my phd thesis!! i didnt realize that there are people like you and gibbs and so many others out there. it wasn't like this at all when i was growing up. cyberspace is cool indeed. stay cool.
